Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Detox & Residential Care

Location: Nashville, TN - Detox Center

Schedule: Full Time / All Shifts available include 7a-7p / 7p-7a with rotating weekend shift coverage

Salary: $28.00/hour plus Overtime and Shift Differential

Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in a residential detox setting serving adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions. This role supports client health and safety by delivering care in accordance with applicable nursing standards and organizational policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Takes client's vital signs, treats wounds, and evaluates physical condition of clients as needed in emergency situations
• Maintains record of persons treated, and prepares incident reports
• Completes client medical history to be added to the clinical record
• Performs tuberculosis testing on all clients at time of admission and employees and makes appropriate referrals for individuals exhibiting S/S of TB or presenting with positive TB test
• Is responsible for the follow-up and documentation of medical information into the client's clinical record
• Completes the medical admission process and assists the medical records department, as needed
• Is available to answer medical questions after hours as needed by on‑call staff
• Performs other duties as required or needed

Qualifications

• An active unencumbered nursing license in the State of Tennessee (required)
• Strong computer skills with ability to type 30 wpm
• Effective interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational skills with paperwork
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications (required)
• Pass background check and drug screening (required)
• Valid TN D.L. with "F" endorsement required; "F" endorsement can be obtained once hired

Education and/or Experience

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• High School Diploma or GED
