Job summary

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is seeking an LPN to provide short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Working with the Unit Director, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans and supervise nursing staff on your shift.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved LPN program and currently licensed by the Georgia State Board of Nursing; experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Practical or Vocational Nursing program.
• Currently licensed by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing preferred.

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is hiring a LPN to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements

• The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
