Job summary

Folkston Park Care and Rehab is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. The LPN will work with the Unit Director to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans and ensure residents' needs are met.

The role includes assisting in orientation and supervision of nursing staff, managing daily operations per shift, and taking on leadership responsibilities as needed. Georgia state licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing.

Position Summary:

In conjunction with the Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements

• The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
