Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to coordinate patient care on the day shift (7am-3pm). Under RN direction, you’ll assess patients, participate in care planning, and help ensure smooth admissions, transfers, and discharges.

This role emphasizes teamwork, administering medications, educating patients and families, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

• Provides patient and/or family with instruction and education relevant to their condition, as delegated and supervised by RN.
• Set up, utilizes and/or maintains equipment, supplies and work area.

How you'll contribute

Under the direction of an RN, contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RNEssential Functions

What we're looking for

Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Current LPN license in state of NC

Minimum Work Experience

• 1 year Electronic Medical Records experience
• 1 year Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) experience
• 1 year quality review/ quality management experience
• 3 years ambulatory care experience (Preferred)
• Active North Carolina LPN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins
