Job summary

Medcor is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for an onsite occupational health clinic in Leola, PA. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend coverage once per month, and a starting pay of $34/hour with additional compensation based on experience.

You will evaluate workplace injuries, provide first aid, perform health screenings, maintain EMR documentation, and support OSHA and ADA compliance while partnering with HR, EHS, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania LPN license.
• At least 12 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in an onsite clinic.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide first aid and nursing care for workplace injuries and illnesses within your LPN scope of practice.
• Perform medical triage and determine appropriate treatment, referral, disposition, and transportation.
• Provide follow up care for employees with work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Perform employee health and occupational health screenings including drug and alcohol testing, post offer testing, post accident testing, and DOT-related screenings.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Support compliance with OSHA, workers' compensation, ADA, and state/federal requirements.
• Partner with onsite HR, EHS, security, and operations teams.
• Participate in employee health and wellness initiatives including biometric screenings.

Location Leola PA Schedule Full Time MondayFriday 400 PM1230 AM Compensation Starting at 3400hour with additional compensation available based on experience Weekend Requirement One Saturday and one Sunday per month Medcor is hiring a full time Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our onsite occupational health clinic in Leola PA Are you an LPN looking to step away from traditional bedside nursing while still using your clinical skills This is a great opportunity to work in an employer based health clinic where youll provide hands on care evaluate workplace injuries and illnesses perform health screenings and help employees stay safe and healthy at work This position offers a consistent MondayFriday schedule competitive pay starting at 3400hour full benefits and no overnight shifts

What Youll Do

• As an Occupational Health LPN youll work onsite at our clients workplace and serve as an important healthcare resource for employees
• Responsibilities include Evaluate and provide first aid and nursing care for workplace injuries and illnesses within your LPN scope of practice
• Perform medical triage and determine appropriate treatment referral disposition and transportation
• Provide follow up care for employees with work related injuries and illnesses
• Perform employee health and occupational health screenings including drug and alcohol testing post offer testing post accident testing and DOT related screenings
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record EMR
• Support compliance with OSHA workers compensation ADA and applicable state and federal requirements
• Partner with onsite Human Resources Environmental Health & Safety EHS security and operations teams
• Participate in employee health and wellness initiatives including biometric screenings blood glucose testing and other workplace wellness programs
• Help promote a safe and healthy work environment for employees

What Youll Need

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania LPN license
• At least 12 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support BLS certification through the American Heart Association AHA or American Red Cross ARC
• Strong assessment communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independent in an onsite clinic environment

Even Better If You Have

• Occupational health or employee health experience
• Emergency room urgent care industrial or ambulatory care experience
• Knowledge of workers compensation OSHA workplace safety or injury management
• Drug and alcohol screening experience
• Bilingual EnglishSpanish skills
• Flexibility to provide coverage at a second nearby site when needed
• No occupational health experience

Physical Requirements

• Work Environment Ability to frequently stand and walk throughout the scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds including a medical jump bagbackpack
• Ability to climb stairs as required
• Ability to hear and communicate clearly with patients and staff and while using medical equipment such as a stethoscope

Work Environment

This position may require PPE while on the production floor including items such as bump caps steel toe shoes gloves safety glasses high visibilitysafety vests and hearing protection
