Job summary

Aspire Physical Recovery Center of West Alabama in Northport, AL is seeking an LPN Charge Nurse for a 7 On / 7 Off schedule with a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift. You will lead nursing care, administer medications, and supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.

Requirements include an active AL LPN license and CPR/BLS certification. Prior charge nurse experience and strong teamwork are preferred, with comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• LPN license in good standing (AL) is REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term or post-acute care is preferred.
• Charge Nurse experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and oversee resident care during the shift.

• Monitor residents and respond promptly to changes in condition.

Full-Time | Evening Shift 3p-11p | Aspire Physical Recovery Center of West Alabama | Northport, AL

Base Pay: $25.00-$29.55 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off | 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Evening Shift Differential: +$2.00/hour weekdays | +$2.75/hour weekends

Aspire Physical Recovery Center of West Alabama is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse to join our nursing team on a 7 On / 7 Off schedule.

As an LPN Charge Nurse, you'll provide direct resident care while helping lead and support the nursing team throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and oversee resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly respond to changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
