Skills of Central PA, Inc. is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) based in Altoona, PA, who will also cover homes throughout Blair County. The LPN delivers a range of nursing services, adhering to established standards and nursing law, and coordinates medical care for individuals we support.

Are you an LPN in the Altoona area? Skills is looking for you! Skills is currently hiring for an LPN who will be based in Altoona but will also cover homes throughout Blair County. Our LPNs provide a day-to-day variety of nursing services and care to the people we support by using and maintaining established nursing objectives and standards, adhering to current nursing law. They Implement and evaluate preventive treatments respecting the rights of the people we support. Candidate must be flexible, a team player and able to take direction and follow through on the coordination of medical care for the folks that we support. Effective written and verbal communications skills are necessary to be successful in this role; administrative experience preferred.

This position is based on a standard 8a-4p work week, however, nurses are required to be on call for the homes they support including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
