Job summary

Brownsburg Health Care Center is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care within the scope of practice in Brownsburg, IN. The position requires following physician orders and center policies to meet patient needs while documenting changes and coordinating with the medical team.

There are full-time and part-time opportunities with shifts including 7A-3P, 3-11P, and 11P-7A, with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license valid in Indiana.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice to meet patient needs.
• Follow procedures for charting and incident reporting.
• Document changes in patients' conditions (nutrition, infections, skin, weight).
• Use Quality Life Manual for patient identification and monitoring.
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary.
• Follow procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Brownsburg Health Care Center. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care within the scope of practice to ensure patients' needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, and center policies.

There are FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME opportunities with various shifts available, including 7A-3P, 3-11P, 11P-7A, with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patients' needs are met
• Follow established procedure for charting and incident reporting
• Document any change in patients' conditions, including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or any other noticeable changes
• Utilize the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary
• Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the practicing state
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one
