Job summary

Infinity Healthcare Consulting in Indianapolis, IN is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for part-time night shifts to provide compassionate care for residents in a long-term care setting.

You will perform rounds, administer medications, and carry out treatments while consulting with physicians and coordinating with the director of nursing. A minimum of 2 years in long-term care and an active Indiana LPN license are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Indiana LPN license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in long-term care.
• Demonstrates strong assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents’ physical, emotional and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medications as charted.
• Administer treatments per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians regarding care plans.
• Communicate with the director of nursing and staff.
• Must have at least 2 years of long-term care experience.

As Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you are delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
• Prepares and administers medications charts as required
• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians
• Communicates with director of nursing and staff
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed in Indiana

Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills

Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
