Job summary

Belle Terrace in Quakertown, PA is hiring part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide compassionate resident care on a 3pm-11pm shift with a shift differential. Earn up to $35/hr as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team committed to quality life and care for residents.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, and helping organize staff workflow while ensuring adherence to the resident plan of care and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active PA LPN license with CPR certification.
• One year experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assumes responsibility and accountability for nursing services delivered to assigned residents of a designated unit for one shift. The LPN Nurse provides direct care, administers treatments and medications, organizes and distributes daily assignments to direct care staff consistent with staff competency and each individual resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. The LPN supervises direct care staff and makes decisions about resident care needs during shifts concerning scope of clinical competence, consistent with facility policies and procedures. The Licensed Practical Nurse also ensures that “Flow of Care” is followed

Job Requirements:

Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Certificate/Licenses: Current, active license as Licensed Practical Nurse in PA. Active CPR Certification required.

Work Experience: One year experience providing direct care to residents in long term care setting preferred but not required.
