Centurion Health seeks a Full-Time Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, IL. You will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

The role requires an active Illinois LPN license, CPR certification, and ability to obtain security clearance. Schedule is 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. with rotating weekends and observed off-days on weekdays after weekend work.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Schedule: Day Shift, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The schedule includes rotating weekends. When Saturday and Sunday are worked, the following Tuesday is scheduled off. When Saturday and Sunday are off, the following Wednesday is scheduled off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Clear/Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
