Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Desoto Annex in Arcadia, FL to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision. The LPN works with RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to address a range of health needs.

The position involves 12-hour day shifts with weekends on a rotation, standard benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a correctional health setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be actively CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Respond to physical and behavioral health needs under RN and medical staff direction.
• Support and collaborate with medical and psychiatric staff to deliver care.

We are currently seeking a fulltime Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Desoto Annex located in Arcadia, Florida.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

(3) 12hr day shifts, EOW

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
