Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Vienna Correctional Center in Vienna, IL. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision, working with RNs and medical staff during the night shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.).

CPR certification required, high school diploma or GED, and ability to obtain security clearance. Excellent benefits and competitive compensation included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• LPN license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs within scope of practice

We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vienna Correctional Center in Vienna, Illinois.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Salary rate of $36.23+/hour.

We offer a $4 shift differential for evenings and $3 shift differential for nights.

Shift: Night Shift, 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.

The schedule includes rotating weekends. When Saturday and Sunday are worked, the following Tuesday is scheduled off. When Saturday and Sunday are off, the following Wednesday is scheduled off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
