Methodist Specialty Care Center (MSCC) in Flowood, MS, is seeking an experienced LPN to provide high-quality nursing care for young adults with complex medical needs. You will work closely with Respiratory Therapists on tracheostomy/ventilator care, monitor conditions, and collaborate with the Medical Director and nursing staff to ensure patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LPN license in the State of Mississippi, without restrictions.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care using best nursing practices.
• Provide direct care to residents and respond to their individual medical needs.
• Help meet residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Work closely with Respiratory Therapists in the care and management of residents with tracheostomies and ventilators.
• Monitor residents' conditions and communicate changes or concerns appropriately.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and other members of the healthcare team to address resident needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide direction and oversight to CNAs to help ensure quality resident care.
• Work collaboratively with management and administrative staff to support effective facility operations.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
• 40 hours per week
• Every Other Weekend

Qualifications: What We're Looking For

• Current, valid LPN license in the State of Mississippi, without restrictions.
