CarolineNursingandRehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on care to residents and support their daily lives with compassion and professionalism.

You will supervise geriatric nursing assistants, ensure compliance with policies, and document resident status while coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers as required. Daily pay options and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted license as LPN in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Directs the daily activities of the geriatric nursing assistants by current federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines and established facility policies and procedures.
• Follows the nursing model to promote holistic care for the residents.
• Ensures that policies and procedures are complied with by the assigned nursing personnel.
• Participates in the admission, discharge, and transfers of residents as required.
• Assesses for changes in residents’ status, notifying the physician and resident’s family or representative and documenting accordingly.
• Transcribes physician orders to the medical record and carries out orders as written.
