Cassia's Westhaven, a senior care community in Boone, IA, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated care team. Westhaven, soon to be managed by Cassia, offers a $5,000 bonus and opportunities to grow within a compassionate, team-based environment.

As an LPN, you will provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and support individualized care plans with a skilled clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Iowa LPN license and be in good standing.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for residents, families, and staff.
• Coordinates, oversees, and provides resident-related care.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders; monitors effectiveness.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment per policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager and physicians of significant changes in a resident's condition and follows up as needed.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Westhaven, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health and support individualized care plans alongside a skilled clinical team. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults.

Position Type: Full-Time

working varying hours including weekends and every other holiday

Shifts Available:

• Days: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Evenings 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• Nights 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

Bonus: $5,000

Location: 112 W 4th St, Boone, IA 50036

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:

• Must have a current Iowa LPN license and be in good standing.
• Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
