• Administer medications for residents per Federal & State regulations.
• Assist admissions assessments and documentation for new residents.
• Support care planning and data collection for acute and long-term care.
• Track clinical data such as wounds or infection control under supervision.
• Provide health consultations and notify physicians/families of health changes.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain communication across departments.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Uphold safety/disaster plan and confidentiality.
• Attend required training and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations
• May need to contribute for admissions of new residents to assist all admission assessments and documentation.
• Mau contribute to process of implementing acute and long-term care plans or service plans and/or the collection of data
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e., wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanour toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned
