Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1ST SHIFT FT

Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $33.00/hr

Open Positions:
  • 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm
  • 2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm

Position Summary

The LPN provides nursing care to residents in the Memory Care community through assessment, planning, implementation, and reevaluation of resident needs. The role involves adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations, offering person-centered physical and psychological support, and providing leadership to CNAs and Resident Assistants.

Essential Functions
  • Assess resident needs and provide nursing care as per care plans.
  • Supervise CNAs, including training, assigning work, and performance evaluation.
  • Apply functional engagement during interactions with residents.
  • Ensure residents' rights are maintained.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Document assessments and history upon resident admission.
  • Handle complaints and concerns from residents, families, or physicians.
  • Respect advance directives and support dignified end-of-life care.
  • Respond to emergencies following standards and protocols.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities.
  • Attend relevant training and in-service programs.
  • Follow safety and infection control policies, reporting hazards and issues promptly.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid LPN license.
  • At least three years of experience in senior living and supervisory roles or equivalent.
Certification & Clearance
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Criminal background clearance or exemption.
  • Health evaluation confirming ability to perform duties and absence of communicable diseases.
  • Valid Class “C” driver’s license with a clean record.
