Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred (Eldermark).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized care plans for residents
• Provide direct nursing care including medication administration, monitoring vitals, and routine treatments
• Operate and monitor medical equipment to assess resident health
• Observe residents and document health status, changes, and treatment responses
• Supervise and support caregiving staff to ensure adherence to care plans and protocols
• Advocate for residents by educating families, caregivers, and residents on care and wellness strategies
• Communicate resident condition changes to appropriate staff, providers, and families
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in EMR systems
• Participate in infection control, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives

Job Details: Job Location: St Paul, MN 55102, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $31.10 - $37.95 Hourly, Job Shift: Evening, We are currently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at The Willows of Ramsey Hill, located at 80 North Mackubin Street, St. Paul, MN 55102. This 58-bed memory care community is part of the Episcopal Homes family and specializes in caring for residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Join our dedicated nursing team in providing compassionate, high-quality care in a welcoming, resident-centered environment.

Wage: $31.10-$37.95hr. DOE

Schedule: Full-Time 0.8 FTE, PM Shift 4pm-11pm and every other weekend 9:00am-5:00pm (Weekend hours are flexible)

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and education with caregivers, residents, and families
• Ability to work in federally funded healthcare programs
• Preferred: Experience in Assisted living with memory care
• Preferred: Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) Eldermark
• Preferred: Experience in geriatric care and chronic disease management

Working Conditions

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during the shift
• Adequate vision and hearing for nursing assessments and resident needs
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping to assist residents
