Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. This role offers hourly pay of $37-$39 and per diem schedules with flexible hours.

We provide Same-Day or Next-Day Pay with RapidPay Card, a signing bonus after completion of 2 shifts, and weekly pay. Local applicants only; BLS/CPR and PPD within last year are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• PPD test within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
