Job summary

Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The role includes delivering compassionate nursing care, administering medications, and implementing physician orders in a senior living setting.

We offer a $32.00 per hour starting pay, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across all patient needs.
• Deliver care that exceeds standards.
• Initiate and lead individualized care plans.
• Assess and document residents’ condition and needs.
• Implement physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assign care to team per resident needs and capabilities.
• Administer medications.
• Start IVs and perform treatments.

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
