Job summary

Genesis seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our York, PA healthcare team. You will work under RN supervision to provide efficient nursing care and ensure patient safety and satisfaction according to care plans and physician orders.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by PA State Board of Nursing.
• Proficiency in English to ensure patient safety and effective communication.
• Ability to work with multiple patients at once.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the written plan of care, as well as physician’s treatment plan.
• Follow a care plan designed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per plan of care (POC).
• Monitor resident’s conditions and report accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with orders provided.

As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to deliver efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
