Job summary

Clinton Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking qualified nursing staff for full-time roles across all shifts. Starting pay ranges from $30.50 to $32 per hour with a salary adjustment up to $32.80 based on experience.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is also offered along with a strong benefits package and opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities include safe resident care, medication administration, and adherence to care plans, with attention to OSHA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing/healthcare experience.
• License, registration and/or certification required.
• Ability to perform nursing duties safely and competently.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe resident care and complete treatments per standards.
• Incorporates updated guidelines into nursing practice.
• Participates in quality improvement for resident care.
• Addresses age-specific needs in care procedures and treatments.
• Communicates plan of care before breaks, during transfers, and at shift report.
• Administers medications accurately following the five rights.
• Performs treatments using sterile or clean technique.
• Administers external feedings as prescribed.
• Completes activities within scheduled shift times.
• Cooperates with reassignments for resident care needs.
• Reports problems and solutions to nursing management.

Functions

Provides safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies. Maintains awareness of new updates standards and incorporates them into his/her nursing practice through out the continuum of care.

Participates in the improvement process of quality resident care.

Incorporates age‑specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.

Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.

Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.

Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.

Accurately administers external feedings.

Completes resident care‑related activities within scheduled shift time periods.

Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.

Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.

Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.

Working Environment

Safety Equipment:Job may require the use of safety equipment, such as HEPA mask, for infection prevention.
