Job summary

Laconia Center is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for 12-hour shifts, full-time, part-time and per diem positions. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus and 25% more pay in lieu of benefits.

Under RN supervision, LPNs provide nursing care, administer medications, and participate in care planning to achieve positive clinical outcomes for residents. State licensure and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain BLS/CPR certification as required by practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
