Job summary

Southview Acres Health Care Center, located in Minnesota, seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team and provide high-quality care to residents. You will work under state and facility guidelines to deliver compassionate nursing services.

The role includes supervising CNAs, administering medications, wound care, and addressing care plan needs with effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current and active license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, residents, families, and professional/regulatory agents.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with the Minnesota state, federal, and facility guidelines.
• Supervising CNAs.
• Medication Administration.
• Wound care and treatment.
• Providing general nursing care to residents in accordance with the facility's nursing policy and procedures.
• Addressing problems identified in the resident’s care plan for RN Nurse review.
