Available Shifts / Schedule
- Full-time: 9AM-5PM - every other weekend required
- Part-time: 7AM-3PM - every other weekend required
- Part-time: 3PM-11PM - every other weekend required

Position Summary:
Provides licensed nursing services to residents and may require supervision of other staff positions.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations.
- May be responsible for the admissions of new residents, including all assessment and documentation.
- Responsible for completing service plans.
- May oversee clinical system tracking (e.g., wounds, infection control) under the direction of the Director.
- Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently when listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Notify physicians and/or family of any change in resident’s health and document accordingly.
- Respond quickly to all emergencies.
- Work as part of a team, handling multiple tasks safely and effectively, maintaining communication with all departments and staff.
- Provide educational meetings for residents and staff, and attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- May provide oversight and direction for care staff.
- Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
- Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment preservation, and safe practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and coworkers.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the state.
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be CPR certified or willing to become certified.
