Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond appropriately to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
• Use nursing process, judgment, and skills to prioritize and deliver quality direct resident care.
• Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing resident responses.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to update the Nursing Care Plan and report pertinent findings.
• Monitor and document vitals, treatments, and resident responses.
• Oversee and evaluate the delivery of care by CNAs, considering their competencies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Licensed and registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
• Dedicated to providing compassionate, clinically sound care.
• Possess cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to foster rehabilitation and health.
• Interested in helping residents who are ill, injured, disabled, or emotionally upset.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and harmoniously with staff.
