LPN Job Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside care, including personal hygiene maintenance
• Record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate)
• Collect health information from patients
• Relay information between patients, RNs, and physicians
• Administer oral medications and injections
• Test blood sugar levels
• Urinary catheter insertion and care
• Assist with personal hygiene
• Monitor for patient condition changes
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Ask questions for clarification when needed
• Serve as a role model for staff
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records
