Apple Rehab Rocky Hill, a 100-bed skilled nursing center near the Silas Deane Highway, seeks an LPN Charge Nurse to plan, oversee, and deliver nursing services for residents, ensuring adherence to quality care standards and physician instructions.

This per diem role offers weekend shifts with differential pay and competitive starting rates based on experience, with opportunities to grow within a family‑owned, supportive community.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse).
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Collaborative team player with previous experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently plans and provides professional care while aligning with the needs of residents and the changing medical landscape.
• Maintains professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff.
• Documents crucial information related to resident care accurately and comprehensively.
• Administers prescribed medications and oversees accurate record-keeping in line with facility policies.

Job Opportunity: LPN Charge Nurse

Starting Pay: Competitive rates starting at $30/hour

Differentials Offered:

• Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts
• Weekend Differential: $1.50 for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday
• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

Available Shifts:

• Per Diem
