Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center in Rockford, IL is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate geriatric care in a faith-based community.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, perform treatments and wound care, mentor nursing assistants, and document in the EHR system, all within a supportive team that values work-life balance and predictable scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. New grads with a passion for senior care are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, monitor clinical changes, perform prescribed treatments, and provide focused wound care.
• Mentor and guide nursing assistants while advocating for resident dignity and safety.
• Participate in smooth shift-to-shift reports to ensure vital health data is passed on accurately.
• Maintain streamlined, easy-to-use Electronic Health Records (EHR) in compliance with facility standards.

• Facility: Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center
• Location: Rockford, IL
• Pay Range: $26.65- $29.25 / hour (Based on experience + generous shift differentials)
• Shifts Available: 1st (6:30 AM-3 PM) | 2nd (2:30 PM-11 PM) | 3rd (10:30 PM-7 AM)
• Status: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN (Enjoy flexible scheduling)
