Job summary

Marquis Health Consulting Services is recruiting an LPN for University City Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Pennsylvania to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. The role requires Pennsylvania LPN license and BLS certification, with paid daily pay options and shift rotations between 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am, and 3pm-11pm.

You'll work within a team to implement care plans, administer meds, monitor residents, document accurately, and maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice and the plan of care.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans as directed by Nurse Manager and team.
• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to supervising staff.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful environment for residents and families.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice, the written plan of care, and the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans developed by the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC) and facility policies.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly to the supervising nurse or physician, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
