Job summary

WesleyLife’s Hearthstone Community in Pella, IA is seeking a compassionate CNA/CMA to assist residents with daily living, monitor health, and support activities in a warm, elder-care setting.

We offer flexible scheduling, DailyPay, shift differentials, a $2,500 sign-on for FT and $1,500 for PT, comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance, and a supportive team focused on respectful, purposeful aging.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa Active CNA license is required.
• CMA preferred but not required.
• Prior LTC/AL experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, medications).
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Conduct routine health monitoring and administer medications as directed.
• Facilitate participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and passing medications.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications.
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
• 1st Shift (6:15am-2:45pm) Part-Time or Full-time
• 3rd Shift (10:45pm-7:15am) Full-Time

Qualifications:

• State of Iowa Active CNA license
• CMA preferred but not required
• Prior experience in LTC and/or AL preferred but not required
