Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Kansas City Vascular & General Surgery in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, day-shift role. You will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include patient flow, preparing for exams, communicating test results, managing records, and scheduling tests with referrals as directed. Requires an accredited PN program and active LPN license.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years' hospital or clinic experience preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, instructing patients on collection of samples/tests, and obtaining vitals.
• Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments; instruct patients and families about medications and treatment.
• Manage patient records including chart entries and posting lab/tests and examination results.
• Schedule tests and treatments including arranging referrals to a specialist and obtaining pre-authorizations as directed by the provider.

Full time (Monday - Friday, day shift), no nights, no on-call, no weekends, no holidays

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.
