HCA Healthcare in San Antonio, TX is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) for a full-time day-shift role. You will provide clinical expertise, support patient care, and collaborate with an amazing team that values high-quality, efficient care.

Responsibilities include managing patient flow, taking vitals, documenting entries, scheduling tests, coordinating referrals, assisting providers, contacting pharmacies, and monitoring supplies.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse following state regulations.
• Full-time, Monday to Friday day shift; no nights, no weekends, no holidays.

• Assist provider with physical exams and preparation for physicals.
• Contact pharmacy to order prescriptions and notify patients.
• Control inventory and monitoring of supplies.
• Record health history and note abnormal conditions for physicians.
• Respond to and screen telephone calls for referrals to nurse or physician.
• Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow.

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

What Qualifications you will need:
