The University of Kansas Health System in Olathe, KS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Float Team on days, full-time. The LPN will coordinate patient care via the nursing process, support physicians and staff, and assist with ambulatory clinic duties.
You will greet patients, record history, obtain vitals, administer medications, and help with tests, referrals, and lab specimens while maintaining accurate EMR entries and patient education per policy.

The ambulatory clinic licensed practical nurse (LPN) utilizes the nursing process to coordinate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. The LPN is responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Practices within the boundaries of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, specialty standards and organizational/departmental policies and procedures.
