Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services’ Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for day shifts. The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision to maintain safety and improve the patient experience in the MST setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma, LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certification within 90 days, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license is required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate at hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certificationandBlood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $31 to $40. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
