Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL, is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN for the Emergency Services department. This full-time daytime role runs 7a-7:30p, with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 for qualified candidates.

You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, perform IV and blood withdrawal within 90 days, and maintain safety and patient comfort as part of the care team. BLS certification is required on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
