Job summary

Vantage Health & Rehab of New Bedford is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in our skilled nursing facility. You will administer routine treatments, collaborate with the Director of Nursing, and support residents' physical and emotional well-being.

The ideal candidate has an active MA LPN license, experience in healthcare, strong communication, and a compassionate, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as an LPN in Massachusetts.
• Experience in nursing or healthcare preferred.
• Familiarity with basic medical equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivering empathetic care to patients who are ill, injured, or recovering.
• Administering basic patient treatments, including medication administration in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
• Educating and informing patients about their medical treatments and care plans.
• Building strong rapport with patients to foster trust and comfort.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications and Skills

• Active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
• Previous nursing or healthcare-related experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with medical equipment, procedures, and best practices.
• A compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
