Job summary

Vantage Health & Rehab of Westfield is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing facility in Westfield, MA. You will provide direct patient care, administer basic treatments, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to support residents' wellbeing.

We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules, including 12-hour shifts on weekends. A MA LPN license and strong communication skills are required; prior nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Massachusetts is required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical equipment and best practices.

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivering empathetic care to patients who are ill, injured, or recovering.
• Administering basic patient treatments, including medication administration in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
• Educating and informing patients about their medical treatments and care plans.
• Building strong rapport with patients to foster trust and comfort.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications and Skills

• Active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
• Previous nursing or healthcare-related experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with medical equipment, procedures, and best practices.
