Job summary

CareOne at New Bedford is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide hands-on and supervisory care at our New Bedford, MA facility. The role focuses on coordinating the nursing process for residents, delivering direct and indirect care per care plans, and ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.

Qualified candidates are graduates from credentialed nursing programs and must hold an active LPN license in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from credentialed school of nursing.
• Certification/Licensure: Currently licensed as a nurse in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care.
• Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
• Supervises administratively in the building assigned, Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed nurses of all staff of his/her respective discipline.

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to his or her care.
• Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
• Supervises administratively in the building assigned, Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed nurses of all staff of his/her respective discipline.
• Supervision follows all accepted state and federal guidelines for the respective discipline.
