Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full-time LPN at Murphysboro Life Skills Re-Entry Center in Murphysboro, Illinois. The LPN delivers holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff supervision, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Schedule rotates weekends with four shifts per week: two 8-hour shifts (12pm–8pm, 8am–4pm) and two 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm). Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an active IL LPN license, CPR certification, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clear/Active LPN license in Illinois or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under supervision.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs with clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with RN and medical/psychiatric staff to address patient care priorities.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Mid Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Murphysboro Life Skills Re-Entry Center in Murphysboro, Illinois.The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.Schedule:The schedule includes rotating weekends.
