Autumnwood Of McBain in Michigan is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee and coordinate resident care during night shifts, under the direction of the Director of Nursing. You will ensure compliance with regulations and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

• LPN license required and CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with long-term or sub-acute care is preferred.
• Strong ability to supervise and develop CNAs/STNAs.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands.
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing, overseeing and coordinating the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing/designee. This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Current state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment
