Job summary

The Waterford at Mansfield, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking an LPN to join our care team in Mansfield, Ohio. You will supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, and participate in care planning for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Candidates must be an active Ohio-licensed LPN with at least one year of experience, strong communication, and a commitment to quality resident care. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold active LPN license in Ohio.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Ability to administer medications and coordinate resident care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines.
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning shift activities.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications and equipment to meet residents' needs; report needs to nursing supervisor.
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Pull charts and perform general office duties as required.

LPN Responsibilities Include

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
