Qualifications

HVCH is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a full-service Emergency Department, Urgent Care, and Surgical Services, as well as many Outpatient Clinics and Services, and a Rural Health Clinic providing Family and Pediatric care services. We have over 350 employees who serve the residents and visitors of beautiful Logan and Hocking Hills, Ohio. We are affiliated with OSU Wexner Medical Center and part of the Ohio State Health Network.

Your role as aN EMT-B

As a part-time LPN at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, you can expect to dive right into an engaging, fast-paced environment in our ER. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve assessing, diagnosing, and managing emergency patients, collaborating closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals. Your expected schedule will be nights, allowing you to be part of a dedicated team that ensures optimal patient care throughout the night.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Previous experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• CPR - approved by the American Heart Association.
• Ability to demonstrate technical nursing skills and knowledge of nursing practices in Emergency Care.
• Basic computer skills; previous experience with EHR preferred (knowledge of Epic is a plus).
