Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients, assisting with psychiatric and personality disorders, under RN supervision
• Coordinate and deliver general and psychiatric nursing care for patients with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric disorders
• Participate actively as part of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety and well-being

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or relevant state licensure
• Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state
• CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment
• Experience in psychiatric healthcare preferred, especially with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or geriatric patients
• Experience with patient assessments, treatment planning, and communication with review organizations
