Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Michigan. The role involves delivering nursing care under the delegated authority of a registered nurse or provider and collaborating with the health care team to implement and evaluate care plans.

The position is full-time, day shift (36 hours/week), with 12-hour shifts from 5:00am to 5:30pm, and every 4th weekend with no holidays. Current Michigan LPN licensure and BLS are required.

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the delegated authority of a registered nurse or provider, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) uses sound nursing judgment in provision of nursing care. Performs a variety of both technical and routine nursing services. Collaborates with health care team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the nursing care plan. Demonstrates clinical competence.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing School.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Successful completion of HFHS pharmacology exam for the LPN.
• Current BLS.
