Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, CO, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living/Memory Care team.

You will administer medications, update care plans, supervise care associates, and document in the electronic medical record, with a 12-hour day shift (7am–7:30pm) on a rotating schedule. Compensation is $32–$38 per hour, plus shift differential and a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Licensed by Colorado as LPN.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading care associates.
• Administering medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect changes in resident care.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating residents' clinical condition and documenting findings in the EMR.
• Participating in resident care meetings and responding to inquiries from residents or families.

Join our AMAZING Assisted Living / Memory Care team at Wind Crest as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)!

Compensation

$32-$38 an hour (depending on experience) plus shift diff

*$4,000 Sign On Bonus!*

Schedule

12 Hour Day Shifts, 7am-7:30pm, Rotating schedule

How you will make an impact

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates
• Administering medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
• Participating in the review of clinical indicator reviews – falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader

What you will need

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Licensed by Colorado as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
