Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, CO, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Assisted Living/Memory Care team. The role involves resident advocacy, care planning, medication administration, and collaborating with the RN and care team.

We offer a 12-hour day shift (7pm–7:30am), a $4,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with company match, on-site wellness centers, education assistance, and growth

Qualifications

• Colorado LPN license is required and CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a caregiver approach
• Assess, observe, and document residents’ clinical condition and notify RN when needed
• Update care plans as resident needs change
• Supervise care associates
• Administer medications timely and accurately
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Respond to residents, family, or responsible parties promptly
• Contribute to reviews of clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use)
• Handle other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader

Compensation

$32-$38 an hour (depending on experience) plus shift diff

*$4,000 Sign On Bonus!*

Schedule

12 Hour Day Shifts, 7pm-7:30am

How You Will Make An Impact

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates
• Administering medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
• Participating in the review of clinical indicator reviews – falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Licensed by Colorado as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
