Job summary

Mountain Ridge Center is hiring full-time and per diem Licensed Practical Nurses. Shifts include 8- and 12-hour schedules with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and benefits plus 25% more pay in lieu of benefits.

Under RN supervision, you will deliver nursing care, evaluate patients, contribute to assessments, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure quality care and patient/family satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical nursing.
• Current LPN license or pending licensure as required by state.
• Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care under RN supervision and ensure clinical outcomes.
• Evaluate patients/residents and report condition changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and follow physician orders.
• Supervise unlicensed staff providing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
