Casa de Ramana Rehabilitation Center in Framingham, MA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 3P–11PM shift. The position offers a wage grid ranging from $36.00 to $48.50 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus and robust benefits.

Per diem arrangements pay $42.00 hourly plus differential, with weekly pay and a 401(k) plan with employer contributions. Tuition assistance and ongoing employee recognition programs enhance the package.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered LPN license in the state where the center is located.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills including electronic health records (PCC a plus).

Responsibilities

• Implement systems addressing each resident’s needs for medically complex and mentally compromised residents.
• Assess health care needs, diagnose, and translate into an interdisciplinary plan of care with clear communication to care providers.
• Maintain respectful, confidential communication with staff, residents, families, and medical teams.

QUALIFICATIONS of the Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN:

• A current unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state in which the center is located.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including an electronic health record, PCC is a plus!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES AND STANDARDS of the Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN:

• Demonstrates the ability to implement systems that address each resident’s needs. Having a broad scope of knowledge and experience to be able to address the needs of the medically complex as well as the mentally compromised residents.
• Demonstrates the ability to assess the health care needs of the resident, make a nursing diagnosis, transition this into an interdisciplinary plan of care utilizing all resources available. Then is able to communicate this plan to all care providers in a way that ensures continuity of care for resident.
• Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain functional communications with staff, other disciplines, residents, families, medical staff and community.
• Treats residents, staff and facility community with respect and dignity. Treating resident and facility property and information with honesty, confidentiality, and respect.
